Teachers are able to set how students can interact with their feedback
Feedback Permissions Types
There are 3 levels of feedback permissions:
Student can read and reply
Student can read but not reply
Student cannot see feedback and grades yet
Adding Feedback Permissions
When creating a new assignment, you can set the feedback permissions:
While on the dashboard click the Add Assignment Button to open up the Create New Assignment form.
Select the desired option from the Feedback Permissions field found under Advanced Feedback Settings
Add any other data you want to the form and click Save
Editing Feedback Permissions
While on the dashboard click the Edit Assignment Button to open up the Assignment Details tab
Click the Edit Assignment Button to open the Edit Assignment form.
Select the desired option from the Feedback Permissions field found under Advanced Feedback Settings
Click Save
What Students See
Student can read and reply
Student can read but not reply
Student cannot see feedback and grades yet
FAQ
If I choose “Student cannot see feedback and grades yet”, will students be able to see their grades?
No, grades for all submissions to the assignment will be hidden until you change the feedback permissions level to either “Student can read but not reply” or “Student can read and reply”.
If I change feedback permissions after I create an assignment, will students see those changes immediately?
No. Students will need to refresh their dashboard in order to see any changes you make to the assignment, including feedback permissions.
